Cold weather this week predicted in Thailand except the South
People in Thailand particularly those residing in the North and Northeast will once again be blanketed by a cold weather this week due to the cold front from China. The Thai Meteorological Department forecast that the mercury will drop between 4-6 degrees Celsius in northeastern provinces – the region that will first experience the high pressure.

The cold weather will then spread to the North and some parts of Thailand with the exception of the southern region. It will remain throughout the week and will start to warm again after January 14.
Higher grounds in the North and Northeast are predicted to have a cold up to very cold weather, Thai PBS reported.
However, rains and strong winds in the Gulf and Andaman sea are expected, with waves up to 2- 3 metres high.
