Chiang Mai welcomes first frost of the year
CHIANG MAI – Thailand on Sunday welcomed the first frost of the year which appeared at the top of Thailand’s highest mountain.
The frozen dew which covered leaves and grass can be seen on top of Doi Inthanon in Chiang Mai’s Chom Thong district.
Apart from temperatures plunging to 5 degrees Celsius and this year’s first frost, locals and tourists were also delighted by the beautiful sea of clouds and the dawn breaking over the horizon.
