The new shopping mall, built to look like a giant fishing boat, brings in the distinct characteristics of the famous Mahachai seafood market, a major seat of Thailand’s thriving fishing industry that employs thousands of migrant workers.
With 5 billion baht cost, the Central Mahachai has a total of 150,000 square meters of retail space and aims to become the “Center of Lifestyle” for Samut Sakorn residents.
Central Mahachai will also have the “Eatalay” zone where fresh seafood from the port will be sold.
