Cabinet to consider extending visas beyond July 31 for stranded foreigners
A third automatic visa extension will be proposed to the Cabinet soon, said Natpanu Nopakun, deputy spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, June 17.
If approved, foreigners stranded in Thailand can stay in the country beyond July 31,
He said the Immigration Bureau is preparing to propose a new round of automatic visa extension to the Cabinet and has advised foreigners to keep an eye out for updates.
