Commuters who didn’t want to get stuck in traffic used BTS Skytrain instead. However, the station announcer of the BTS Skytrain told passengers that open umbrellas should not be taken into the stations or onto the platforms.
The request has caused dismay from commuters. The reason they needed umbrellas, they cited, was because of the leaking roofs of the BTS system and the platforms that are open.
