All schools in Thailand, except in Samut Sakhon can reopen from Feb 1
All schools in Thailand, except those in Samut Sakhon province, will be allowed to welcome back students on February 1, the Ministry of Education announced on Wednesday.
The announcement, however, also states that schools in Bangkok and its vicinity – Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, Nakhon Pathom and Pathum Thani – can have no more than 25 students per classroom.
Schools in Samut Sakhon, the province which has seen the highest number of infections in the new wave, are required to conduct online classes or at least assignments in case they don’t have facilities.
