11 teachers and staff involved in alleged abuse to face multiple charges
Pol Maj-Gen Paisal Wongwatcharamongkol, Commander of Nonthaburi Provincial Police, identified 11 teachers and staff at Sarasas Ratchaphruek School who allegedly assaulted 30 school children.
The meeting on Saturday was held at Chaiyapruek police station and was attended by officers investigating the alleged violence against the students, as well as representatives of the Teachers’ Council of Thailand and the Office of the Private Education Promotion Commission.
According to Pol Maj-Gen Paisal, the police already charged three of the eleven suspects while the others involved in the alleged abuse have been summoned which requires them to appear and answer police questions today (Oct 5).
